Kingdom Faith
1:1 IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. 1:3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
John 1:1,3 (AMP) 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
3 You, LORD, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you.
Isaiah 26:3 (TEV)
8 Yes! He will answer them quickly! But the question is: When I, the Messiah, return, how many will I find who have faith [and are praying]?”
Luke 18:8 (TLB)
It is not about your individual desires, thoughts, or beliefs.
Authentic Kingdom Faith starts with God’s desires, His thoughts, and most importantly, His Word. The Word of God is the supreme authority in determining what God really desires for Kingdom faith. In other words, it does not matter what you think, what you have been taught, or what others have said concerning faith. In the Kingdom of Heaven, the only thing that matters is what has God said about it. Therefore; you must understand the faith principles encapsulated in the bible to know exactly how to walk by faith and how to accomplish God’s purpose for your life?
God has a Kingdom plan far greater than you can imagine. This plan can only be accomplished by walking in the God kind of faith, Kingdom faith. Faith comes from hearing the Word not from having heard only once. God want a continuous listening heart in the present tense that is ready to receive an impartation of faith. You cannot and will not accomplish Kingdom assignments outside of faith received, produced, or grown within your own heart. There is a principle – “It not yours until you discover it”. If you seek you will find! Without faith it is impossible to please God or receive from God. However; all things are possible to him that believes.
How many people truly know what faith is? This is the simplest definition that I have learned: Faith is affirmation of belief or acting on what you believe. Since you believe the Word of God, faith is merely corresponding actions in alignment with the Word of God. This definition agrees with the promises that I have read throughout the bible. James tells us that faith without corresponding action is not the God kind of faith at all. It is just belief only. (James 2:18-26 TEV) Paul said “Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak”. (2 Corinthians 4:13 AMP)
Your faith is dependent upon you willfully obeying God’s Word. The Bible says, “Faith worketh by Love” and also that “God is Love”, and “If you love me you will obey me.” Therefore, as we obey the Word, our faith matures and becomes strengthened. We also are positioned in right standing with God! God call Abraham the father of faith. Abraham’s faith went through a similar process and grew strong as he glorified God.
Many of us have wondered “Does my faith have enough substance or evidence to accomplish God’s purpose for my life? Do I have enough faith to persevere through a trial, tribulation, test, or an adverse circumstance without wavering? How do I know if I have the faith that it takes for healing, deliverance, prosperity, or other promises of God? What process or steps must my faith follow as I am walking through a test? How does trials, tribulations, and test improve my faith? Are there ingredients that must be added to my faith to make it work? How can I strengthen my faith? These and many other questions which you may have considered demand an answer from the Word of God and will be considered in subsequent blogs or teachings.
What are some of your questions or thoughts regarding faith? Again, God has all the answers to any questions. Let’s seek first His Kingdom and Righteousness and all things will be added to you. (Mathew 6:33)
